How to inventory Printer Serial Number?

Using Sherry Kissinger's scripts, I was able to get it to inventory monitor serial numbers and what local mapped printers/drives were setup. It did that by running a script which dumped the info into wmi, which then was processed by sccm. However, it doesn't have the serial number for the local printers. I was wondering if there was any way or if anyone has any scripts which would do something similar except for local printers?
